Johnny Gill was recently sued by a record producer who claimed that the New Edition star damaged her reputation by writing on Twitter that she leaked one of his songs onto the internet!
However, he's claiming that this is bull shiz, because people shouldn't be allowed to sue over [...]

After many complained that the theatrical trailer released for the updated version of Footloose followed too closely to the plot of the original, a second version has been released, featuring more scenes with new leads Kenny Wormald and Julianne Hough!

My time in the wilds of Rhode Island has come to an end and David and I are now in NYC. We’ll be here in the Big Apple until the end of the week and we’ve got a pretty full schedule on our plates. But, before we let the hecticness of the city overtake us, we settled in and enjoyed the really breezy and cool weather here last night.

Because I grew up in the Detroit Metro area, I never spent much time on trains. In fact, I think the first actual train I ever rode was after I met David and I visited his family in New England for the first time. Trains are very prevalent all along the East Coast border so that’s how David likes to travel to/from NYC back home to Connecticut:

This is the cute little train station in Rhode Island that we took out of town … but soon enough, we were in NYC:

First, we got some pizza … then we met up with our friend Isaac for a quick drink thing at Industry. It really was a quick hello then back to our place for much-needed sleep. Tonight, David and I are seeing the amazing show Sleep No More and we are both very excited. Not sure what the plan is for after but … it’s NYC … I’m sure we’ll find something :)

Now this has to be scary. Probably brought back a lot of terrible memories for New York.

Yesterday, a young man who was visiting the Top of The Rock attraction at 30 Rockefeller Plaza, separated from his group and scaled over the 10-foot glass partition on the 70th floor. He threatened to jump sans any explanation, which sent the city into a panic.

The streets below were closed off by FDNY, NYPD and thankfully, after some time, the man was talked off the ledge and brought back inside.

Check out the video (above) to put this into perspective. 70 flights up would've been a long way to fall.

We're just glad he's safe and he didn't hurt anyone else or himself.

Friday Night Lights Movie In The Works

Peter Berg is working on a ‘Friday Night Lights’ movie now that the series has ended its five year run. Find out how Berg and his partner Jason Katims plan on bringing the critically acclaimed television series that stars Kyle Chandler, Connie Britton and Taylor Kitsch to the big screen. ‘Battleship’ director Peter Berg, who adapted the Texas loving football series ‘Friday Night Lights’ for TV, has announced that he is writing a script to continue the story of Coach Eric Taylor and Tami Taylor. Although production is still far away, Jason Katims also confirmed that it’s in the works. According to TVLine’s Michael Ausiellio and Vlanda Gelman, Berg made the announcement while attending the Television Critics Association press tour, sharing that he and his partner Jason Katims are “very serious” about making the film and “intend to do it.” Since the series that stars Super 8’s Kyle Chandler, Connie Britton, actress Aimee Teagarden and Taylor Kitsch came to an end after five seasons last month this should be exciting news for fans who can now look forward to the return of their favorite characters. Let me tell you one of the most amazing things about Rhode Island … it’s Nature. Nature in all its wondrous and stunning beauty … which tastes absolutely DELICIOUS! Last night, the Hauslaib fam took me to a place called Duffy’s Tavern for a seafood meal that was unlike any I have ever enjoyed before. We ate HUGE lobsters, massive crab legs and all sorts of smaller, yet tasty seafood offerings. Now, I love me some seafood … but last night’s meal has to take the cake as the most sumptuous and delicious seafood meal I’ve ever gorged myself on.

To be honest … I couldn’t help but feel a few pangs of guilt at the poor creatures who were served on our dinner plates last night. I mean … they really are beautiful creatures. But once I started eating them, well, my pangs of guilt turned to ravenous hunger. The crab legs I ate last night, when outstretched, were almost as long as my arms … and they had so much meat in them, I actually go full. I NEVER get full on seafood. I’m telling you … if you want the best seafood ever, you come to Rhode Island and have yourself a FEAST!

So today … is the day. I am meeting Britney Spears in Hartford, CT at her Femme Fatale Tour stop tonight and I am BESIDE myself with anxious nervousness. Meeting Madonna was truly a high point in my life … meeting Britney will be another high point for me. I can’t really talk too much about it … I’m getting more anxious the more I think about it. I’ll have a full report tomorrow … and hopefully a really cute photo with our dear BRITNEY SPEARS :D

Pray for me, y’all … pray that I do not die from a heart attack right on the spot tonight :/

Jennifer Lopez, who is very close to officially signing on to host the next season of American Idol, is readying the release of a new clothing line. As you may remember, J. Lo previously launched a very successful clothing line called J. Lo that was geared toward a young, urban customer. It would seem that Jen is ready to woo the older set with her new line, which will be available in September from Kohl’s. Jennifer chose the September issue of O magazine, on newstands next Tuesday, to show off her clothing line for the very first time. Get a peek at J. Lo‘s new threads below.

Jennifer Lopez joined O Magazine’s Creative Director Adam Glassman on set to style eight O readers in her fabulous new collection which is all about accessible, everyday glamour; the line is set to debut in [Kohl's] stores this September. Even off-camera Lopez doesn’t blend in. Not that she doesn’t try. “Hi, I’m Jennifer,” she says, shaking hands with each of the women, among them a teacher, a lawyer, and a newly minted college graduate … Lopez relates to these women’s concerns. “I’m a mom,” she says simply. “I work. I want comfort. But I want to feel sexy and modern. I think most women want the same things.” She says motherhood (twins Max and Emme turned 3 in February) hasn’t dulled her trademark body-conscious style— just made it slightly trickier to pull off. Lopez … work[ed] behind the scenes to style our photo shoot. “This is overwhelming,” she says excitedly as the women—the first nonmodels she’s seen in her clothes—start playing dress-up … “This is the fulfilling part – to have women tell me, ‘This is so comfortable, it fits so well.’”

This is not the firs time Jennifer Lopez has dabbled with fashion design but it deffo sounds like her focus has changed. The sexier, more juniors line she offered previously seems to be put aside in lieu of catering to a more mature woman. But, as you can see, J. Lo‘s love for fake fur is still front and center (her J. Lo line was lousy with fake fur). Not that I’d be buying any of it but I am curious to see what J. Lo‘s new line for Kohl’s looks like. Are you?

NBC wants Sean Hayes back... and so do we!

Apparently the network wants Sean back in front of the camera, as they're developing a new sitcom concept with him!

NBC’s entertainment chief Robert Greenblatt just told TV critics at their summer press tour that one of his goals is to bring Hayes back in front of the camera into a new comedy.

Without specifying details, Greenblatt says he’s developing a concept with Hayes, who’s worked as a producer in recent years on shows like TV Land’s Hot in Cleveland and NBC’s upcoming Grimm.

Color us excited, because we think this is a fantastic idea!

We just hope it's a sitcom without a laugh track -- one in the vein of Parks and Rec or Community!
